  • Local Action Groups (LOCAGS): Locally based implementation vehicles composed of trained residents familiar with local geophysical, social, cultural, and economic contexts.

  • Proxy and Partnership Option: Acts as an implementation partner or proxy to execute agreed activities with partner organizations.

  • Knowledge Generation and Dissemination: Generates evidence for decision-making through baseline studies, assessments, independent evaluations, and technical backstopping.

  • Friends 2535 Initiative: A localized initiative aimed at providing hope to individuals facing despair from natural catastrophes or socio-economic distress.

  • 52 Food Security Plan: A household-level food security intervention on 1 acre of land using 52 lines, each with 28 planting stations (2 plants per station).

    • Forecast: Yields 56 cobs per line = 1 bucket of shelled maize per week = enough to feed a family of 6 for 52 weeks (1 year).

    • Scale: 1,000 households per province = 6,000 people per province = 60,000 individuals saved from food insecurity across provinces.

  • Governance, Community Engagement, Participation, and Accountability: Built on trust, honest decision-making, and transparency to ensure long-term sustainability.

  • Gender, Disability & Inclusion: Mainstreaming gender and addressing populations of concern, specifically persons with disabilities.
